Dividend Policy

The current policy of Extendicare is to pay monthly cash dividends to holders of common shares of record on any month end by approximately the fifteenth day of the following month. The declaration and payment of future dividends is subject to the discretion of the Board of Directors of Extendicare Inc. and will be dependent upon a number of factors, including:

  • results of operations;
  • requirements for capital expenditures and working capital;
  • future financial prospects of Extendicare and its subsidiaries;
  • debt covenants and obligations; and,
  • other factors deemed relevant by the Board of Directors.
