Extendicare is committed to providing services in a manner that respects the dignity and independence of everyone, including people with disabilities.

The Ontario government passed the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act in 2005. It is the goal of the government of Ontario to make Ontario accessible by 2025.Extendicare (Canada) Inc. is committed to complying with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 and all of the standards under it in order to meet the accessibility needs of persons with disabilities in a timely manner.

The multi-year plan below outlines Extendicare (Canada) Inc.’s strategy to prevent and remove barriers to address the current and future requirements of the AODA, and in order to fulfill our commitment as outlined in Extendicare (Canada) Inc.’s Accessibility Policies.
